Arbor Day 2024

On Friday, April 26, 2024, South Lyon citizens gathered at the southwest corner of the Historic Village Freight House. After an Arbor Day proclamation was read by South Lyon Mayor Steve Kennedy, a Sunset Maple tree was planted by the South Lyon Area Girl Scouts Brownie Troop 77575. The tree can be seen in the lawn area southwest of the Freight House. Thank you to the Brownies and to Mayor Kennedy!
